My first contact to make my appointment was with a very friendly, competent, efficient and caring person. I was taken in promptly when I arrived. The sonographer was kind, patient and explained things well. The doctor was compassionate, and clearly explained what he was going to do. The overall professionalism and environment of this office is the gold standard. I wish offices closer to where I live operated the way this office does. It was worth traveling to New Haven to receive such good care.

How come i didnt get a follow up call after my biopsies i cant close my left eye cant drink water my mouth is slanted and slight pain had yo go to another doctor
Years ago my doctor asked me if I'd be willing to drive some distance to go to "the best" ultrasound practice - and of course I said "yes". It's always been worth the effort. Dr. Hammers and his staff are outstanding practitioners and I've always left my appointments knowing what Dr. Hammers thinks of the results and a consultation with him. I couldn't ask for better!

I entered an office of of professionals who were perfect for the reluctant patient. Office staff was friendly. Nurse was patient and reassuring and it was obvious that she was highly regarded for her expertise. Dr. Hammers walked in, and I immediately knew that I would be very calm. In a matter of minutes I felt complete confidence. Dr's technique was painless and precise, finding the exact location of the thyroid nodules. He is excellent!!!
Had an excellent experience with Dr. Hammers and his staff. He is very personable and extremely skilled in his area of expertise. I had to have a fine needle aspiration of thyroid nodules. It was a totally quick and painless procedure. He and his staff thoroughly explain the proceedure putting you at ease, and within minutes you are done and free to go. Very positive experience, and very efficiently run office as well.
I couldn't have had a better experience. The doctor was incredibly knowledgeable and took the time to answer questions. It's also nice to feel like the doctor isn't trying to send you for unnecessary tests and/or procedures.
