Dr Weintraub is one of the best Doctors I have ever had! He was my MD for 8 years through Aurora, it was very sad to hear he was no longer working there.
Went in with chronic back pain, just got clean from using drugs to help me sleep. Seemed nice but at the end said “well there’s really nothing more I can do, the trazodone should be helping you sleep” I literally have to take more and more and more and more and finally I get an hour or two. So frustrating
Brought my son in as he missed 2 weeks of school due to feeling very tired and he had lost weight. Weintraub thought he was faking it to get out of going to school - my son is a straight A student who has had perfect attendance many days and I told the doctor this. He said bring him back in a week. Had my son in Urgent Care the next day - turns out he was in ketoacidosis as he had type 1 diabetes (a new diagnosis). Dr. Weintraub is very throurough and knowledgeable. He spends abundant time with us during our visits. He isn't judgemental or arrogant as some doctor can be. He truly displays a passion to help others and always makes sure all our questions are answered before we leave. He fills our medications with 6 months to a year of refills so I don't have to call constantly for a new prescription. This doctor cancelled all of my mother's medication WITHOUT seeing her or consulting with prior doctors or telling anyone. Life-dependent medication. He refuses to return phone calls. Does he think he can push people around because they are in a nursing home?
