My relative has had a horrible experience with this doctor. It is very apparent that he has little time and is very unprofessional when it comes to patients in underserved communities. He never addressed the issues and my relative had an ongoing illness that he could never resolve. Most times, he would never show up when requested. In addition, he has poor bedside manner and very little concern, compassion or respect for patients. I would never recommend him to anyone.
First, you’ll never see the doctor. It’s a nurse practitioner if you’re lucky, sometimes interns. Their lack of knowledge means you’ll have many unanswered questions and not be alerted when things are serious. I had a massive ovarian cyst that they got on my results and never mentioned to me. I am tired of going to this office - the office staff is 100% inept. I’ve requested documents and other things before and they haven’t sent them, but this time is beyond unacceptable. I had an emergency telehealth call with the NP this Monday because I need a referral for an MRI because I busted my knee and am in urgent pain. The office did zero follow up. Love this office and all staff. Dr Mangoba and the Physicans Assistants are caring and patient. The office staff and nurses are very friendly and I would highly recommended them. Thanks for creating a welcoming environment, especially in healthcare!
This is by far the most well run Dr's office I've ever been to. All staff are caring, from the receptionist, to the medical assistants, to the Nurse Practitioner to the MD. Nothing gets forgotten, insurance authorizations are received in a timely manner, and the practitioner really listens to your concerns. I really feel like I am well cared for at Dr Mangoba's office. Appointments are easily made by cheerful staff, and the wait time is reasonable once there. I can't say enough good about them!
