Dr. Schaeffer is an excellent professional, he helps me to improve my health because I had a severe accident in my job and my health was weak for many years.
I first met Luis on a emgerency call in his office when I was about to have a heart attack and he treated me on a Saturday when he is normally closed. He saved my life as far as I'm concerened and has been treating me, my wife and daughter now for 8 years. I would never ask for a more round rounded and nicer doctor and staff of nurses than this doctor. I'll continure till I drop with him and my wife feels the same way, and the staff treats everone like family.
I found Dr Schaeffer to have an awesome disposition when talking to him. He was kind, understanding, funny and didnt stick his nose in my file while i droned on and on about my symptoms. He actually looked me in the eye, Human to Human. I liked this. I have passed his card along to my sister and her daughter and expect that they will fall in love with him just the same. The only draw-back; NO Sat hours! But it is awesome that I can go to either Cleveland (where I live) and Humble (where I work).
I made an appointment with this office a few days ago. I was having a bad cold and needed to see someone ASAP. The receptionist was very friendly on the phone taking my info. When I got to the office next day, the wait wasnt too bad and the Dr. was awesome. He took his time examining me for my cold and going over some other un-related medical questions I had for him. I am 58 years old and live in Cleveland, TX. During the past few years, I have been going through a lot of health issues. Instead of seeing a doctor in Cleveland (where many have bad reputations) I decided to see doctors throughout the Houston metro area. However, this became too time consuming and troublesome for me, since my health was deteriorating. I do not know who was the doctor a previous post went to, but I can tell all of you that it was not Dr. Schaeffer. Dr Luis Schaeffer is a very professional, compassionate, helpful, and knowledgeable physician. He is really an outstanding physician, who thoroughly evaluates the patient, and I confirm that he always makes time for any additional questions that I may have. Im not sure what doctor the previous posts went to but it wasnt Dr. Luis Schaeffer. Dr Schaeffer is an outstanding physician, who thoroughly evaluates the patient, is very professional, and always makes time for any additional questions one may have. I have been going to him for some time now, and each time I leave feeling satisfied with his advice and guidelines for my health. I logged in to write a review and see a previous review from almost 2 years ago with a similar situation as mine! I waited 3 hours! I thought he was just trying to mess with me because I didnt happily accept it when his office called me to cancel a prior booked appointment for no reason. I even asked was it an emergency? A surgery? No, they told me, the dr. can cancel appointments at his discretion. i have never waited under 3 hours at this doctors office. One time i even waited 4 hours and one time he was even an hour late. I wont be going back. Im looking for a new doc right now. And I do not have insurance and it is CASH only. No checks OR credit cards. One of the times I waited so long was just to give blood for lab work, I didnt even see the doc that day, I had to go back a few days later when my results were in and wait again to get my results and actually see the doctor. He never did help me after all that...
