I arrived 15 minutes late for an appointment, due to an error with the referral received by this office. They wanted to cancel my appointment the day before, when I called to verify. I called the insurance office and the error was fixed. When arrived the receptionist said, we can't do anything for you, due to the fact that the MD was going on vacation. I went to this doctor at his Pembroke Pines office, having been referred by my dentist due to a cracked molar that was falling apart in my mouth. I want to stress - I am NOT a dental professional and though I've had a lot of work done on my jaw and teeth I don't know everything and I have a very, very tough relationship with even my dentist due to my trauma. Dr. Cardenas and his staff was amazing. I was extremely nervous when I first came in. They gave me tissues for my tears and talked to me. They make me feel comfortable and gave me all the necessary information before the procedure started. I extremely liked the fact that they gave me my prescription ahead of time so that I would have the medicine on hand and there wouldn’t be any slip ups. The surgery was over in no time.
