Unfortunately you cannot rate it lower than one star or I would. I was referred to this office by my dentist and please believe the bad reviews (even though they fluff good reviews in between) are for good reason. The office staff there is extremely rude. Dr. Cardenas is an excellent physician and a highly skilled surgeon. I walked into his office without an appointment because my son was in a lot of pain. Even though Dr. Cardenas was fully booked, he still made time to accommodate us. He immediately diagnosed the issue causing my son’s wisdom tooth pain and also identified other possible complications. My son’s case was a bit unique and involved the risk of serious complications. I arrived 15 minutes late for an appointment, due to an error with the referral received by this office. They wanted to cancel my appointment the day before, when I called to verify. I called the insurance office and the error was fixed. When arrived the receptionist said, we can't do anything for you, due to the fact that the MD was going on vacation. I went to this doctor at his Pembroke Pines office, having been referred by my dentist due to a cracked molar that was falling apart in my mouth. I want to stress - I am NOT a dental professional and though I've had a lot of work done on my jaw and teeth I don't know everything and I have a very, very tough relationship with even my dentist due to my trauma.
