Never come here. Blamed all my issues on being depressed and said women only use PCOS as an excuse for their obesity. She said my high testosterone was normal for women??? Told her I’m counting my calories and I work out every day but still recommended me to a nutritionist, suggested I work out and still told me to count my calories and recommended I not lie. My experience is completely aligned with the other negative reviews here. Dr. Lubna Pal is extremely insensitive, rude, mean and degrading. She reduced me to tears in her office, called me obese, told me to eat less carbs, mocked my PCOS diagnosis and symptoms, told me I would die early and miss my children growing up, and told me to call a therapist since I was crying in her office. The most disgusting person I’ve ever met. She told me I was not serious about having a baby. She was the reason I stopped fertility treatments and was unable to start up again until many years later.
My experience is 100% aligned with other reviews here- PLEASE stay away from this provider if you want genuine, compassionate medical care. Highlights to be aware of: sarcasm, mocking of your symptoms, degradation, humiliation & shame tactics, invalidation of your symptoms & feelings. She has some significant biases & personality issues that impede her ability to be an appropriate, caring doctor. This doctor is an insensitive human being I ever met in my 6 years of fertility struggle!!! She hid from me that I had miscarriage !!! Told me I need to loos weight if I ever want to see a baby of my own ( being at 180) I lost 40 lb and that wasn’t good enough for her. Her aid told me that she can’t even see my belly button while she was measuring my waist. ( 150lb at this point) that was my point when I said to myself I can go somewhere else instead being abuse.
