Dr VanAssche is a 5 star physician. As I am a retired RN, I’ve had contact with many physicians and can confirm that statement. Outstanding characteristic is his honesty as well as his skills. He could have done stents, but instead referred me to another physician for LIMA since that was the optimal procedure for my case. He was very accommodating about doing virtual visits when appropriate since I live out of town. Dr. Lowie Van Assche is an outstanding surgeon and an incredible person. He recently placed a stent for me, and I feel so much better thanks to his skill and care. His team was professional, kind, and supportive every step of the way. Truly the best doctor and medical staff I’ve ever experienced!

Dr. Van Assche was assigned to my grandmother's case relating to her diagnosis of Critical Aortic Stenosis. She was hospitalized at Baptist Hospital in Kendall and has been awaiting a consult for a TAVR procedure for a week. Despite countless requests from the RN's in the cardiology wing at Baptist and numerous phone calls and text messages from us directly to his office, Dr. Van Assche has yet to bother even call the RNs back.
