We absolutely love Dr.Lori Gara-Mathews, Dr. Friedberg, NP Emily and the entire staff of Lower Falls Pediatrics. We were so lucky that Dr. Gara was rounding @ NWH when my first was born back in 2006. The entire staff has your children's best interest in mind and will do anything they can to ensure you are seen and receive the best care possible. Beyond grateful for this practice and Dr. Gara-Matthews who saw my newborn daughter for an issue on a Saturday on very short notice . Very kind, knowledgeable and takes her time to explain things !
I am beyond pleased with the level of care my baby has received from Dr. Lori! As a first time mom I spent a lot of time picking an office for our baby. My concern with lower falls was that it was a bit of a commute and getting out of the house on time is a challenge in itself, but even when I arrive late we’re still seen promptly. Dr. Lori was more concerned with my son (who has ASD) having vaccine boosters (that were not time sensitive) than his surgery to take out his tonsils and adnoids to help with his chronic strep. We received a letter terminating our relationship with her the day after my son had his surgery. She never even called or sent a note to see how he was doing. I would like to spotlight and commend Emily, the NP at Pediatric Health Care at Newton Wellesley. Emily's gentle touch and kind demeanor with my daughter helped conquer her fear of a certain test. She went above and beyond to take the time to explain everything to my daughter and was professional and thoughtful! I can't say enough great things about this doctor's office and of course amazing Emily. She is knowledgeable and truly amazing at what she does.
