Dr Mangino is a very good Dr but the problem is the front desk lady, his nurse and the “office manager”. I’m waiting on his office to send my medical records to Evicore to get a prior authorization for a CT scan for more than a week. I called his office for several days but they don’t have a direct ph, scheduling department sent them several messages and nothing was done. I switch family doctors to Dr. Mangino 2 1/2 months ago. Upon my first visit with him he listened to all my symptoms, educated me and was completely professional and his personality made me feel very comfortable. After telling him the "HELL" I was going through for 2 years with the pain that was unbearable, constant sickness, stress within myself and my family, major weight loss, test after test, specialist after specialist, trips to Philly and still no escape. He is my elderly mother physician and has been saying for years nothing is out of normal for her age. Finally sent her for test and realized there were issues and decline. During appointment he prescribed 2 medications , one being very important to try to slow or reverse her condition. During my last visit from out of state I went through her medications and noticed one missing. After a phone call to the office, nurse said that the medication was never prescribed. After getting really sick and in hospital I was talked into a different family Dr. What a mistake. Not saying new Dr is bad in anyway but I think he's way behind The times. Honestly Dr mangino made my life manageable. I am not having issues with new Dr just think Dr M. Is up on top of things. I should have stayed with my instincts for sure. My new Dr is a little closer to home but not like DrM.
