My wife and I have been going to Dr. Wolfe for nearly 20 years. I called last week to get an appointment for our 16 year old son. He has up until this point been seeing his pediatrician. We wanted him to see Dr. Wolfe as he gets older. They refused to take our son as a new patient even though our family has been coming to thier office for 20 years. We will be seeking another family doctor that will see our whole family. So much for standing by your loyal patients.
Being an on-call doctor is not easy. You must rely on the judgement of a PA you don't know who ordered an MRI; You have to rely on a radiologist to interpret the results of that MRI; and you have to listen to a patient you have never met to determine the next step to take. This review is based on doctor Wolf's frank discussion of my condition, explanation of his recommended course of treatment (very important for a man my age). My whole post-stroke experience has reinforced my already high opinion of healthcare in the USA.
Dr. Wolf is one of the finest doctor's I have had the pleasure of seeing - If I could get him to move to Palm Beach FL, where I have just moved, I would be so happy!!!
