My Appointment was 03/11/2023 at 11am. She was an absolutely wonderful human being, extremely polite and friendly, very informative and sympathetic to my symptoms and pain, She is an amazing doctor, I was so sensitive with pain everywhere and she was so gentle, and she just arranged everything that needs to be done so smooth and simple, she’s not greedy for fees like other doctors, she charge fairly and she deserves what she asks for. I saw Dr. Shim twice for severe gastrointestinal issues. While she was very nice and kind at first, at my second visit, she seemed completely unsure and told me I need to get surgery to get an external button on my tummy and there’s nothing else left for me to try. I asked if my symptoms could be linked to my endometriosis, but she dismissed the connection outright and said the ‘button’ is the only solution. I have been under the care of Dr Shim for several years now. She is a very caring Gastroenterologist who listens to you, takes the time to understand you and discuss your needs. She is also very easy to communicate with. Dr Shim is a highly experienced medical professional, well respected, and has an excellent bedside manner which is not all that common these days unfortunately.
