I don’t usually leave reviews, but after reading another patient’s review describing that she left the appointment crying, I felt compelled to share my experience. I was seen while my regular provider was on maternity leave for my pre-operative appointment. I came to the visit prepared with questions about the procedure, recovery, and future pregnancy planning. This was my first visit after moving and I came across the Cherokee Women's Health Specialist and intentionality searched for a doctor that I could relate to and whom could relate to me. Dr. Lisa exceeded my expectations! She is extremely knowledgeable, culturally competent and accommodating to the needs of her patients. Dr McLeod is extremely rude and crass. I tried explaining the symptoms I was having and she tried to diagnose me with an std. clearly I did not have an std. She also asked me three times if I participated in oral sex with my husband. It was the most embarrassing drs appointment I’ve ever been to. I left the office crying. She then proceeded to call me after I left telling me she didn’t appreciate me crying in her office and good luck on my infertility journey. I 100% do not recommend this Dr.

This is the doctor most of us wanted and didn't get. She is amazing. Caring, genuine, funny!! She includes you when reviewing treatment options and ensures you feel heard. I am so happy to have her with me on this journey. She has brought my so much peace of mind.
