Dr McGuire is one of the most professional and polite specialists that I go to. I highly recommend her as an Endocrinologist. I always look forward to my follow up visits with her.
Very condescending, rude, arrogant and doesn't listen. In spite of my recent test showing my thyroid meds had sent my T4 off the charts prior to a knee surgery, and my primary suggestion I drop the dose, she told me I had to go back up on the dose for 6 weeks and take a new test before she would prescribe a lower dose. The worst office ever! I scheduled and waited 2 months for my appointment. The day before I get a call with the receptionist asking me my symptoms. Excuse me thats what my appointment is for to discuss with Dr. Receptionist said she's canceling my appointment because I don't meet criteria. I have been looking to see a doctor for quite sometime. These worthless offices in NM need to put patients who need help first. They are sorry people.
I experienced exactly what the other negative reviews did. She was condescending and dismissive; she refused to even acknowledge my sx’s and would only do one test that was on the referral (cortisol test), in spite of me begging her to address my symptoms. It was a telehealth visit, which is complete laziness as far as I’m concerned.
