I experienced exactly what the other negative reviews did. She was condescending and dismissive; she refused to even acknowledge my sx’s and would only do one test that was on the referral (cortisol test), in spite of me begging her to address my symptoms. It was a telehealth visit, which is complete laziness as far as I’m concerned. I saw endocrinologist Lisa McGuire, but I left very disappointed. I waited a long time for this appointment and thought she would help me with my hormonal problems. She only wanted to treat high testosterone because that's what the reference said I also brought her a letter explaining my symptoms and she ignored it I will not return to her She did not make me feel comfortable.

Most negative medical experience I’ve had. She was adversarial in her communication style and didn’t trust my experience of my health. I told her in the appointment that the way she was questioning me was making me feel defensive, but she continued to skeptically grill me. Her orientation towards patients is extremely strange, condescending and paternalistic. I have some knowledge about my condition and appropriate testing.
