I am taking care of my mom who came home on hospice after having a feeding/drainage tube placed. We were told to make an appt by Dr Babashoff, for 2 weeks out. The office couldn’t get us in for 3 weeks. By the 2.5 week mark my mom had declined so much so that she was on oxygen 24/7 and no longer coherent. Hospice asked for orders releasing her care to them and she said “she doesn’t do that” only after telling me she doesn’t know why we are calling her office. I should be dealing with the primary. I’m an emergency/trauma registered nurse and Dr. Babashoff was my mom’s surgeon and was AMAZING! Her office staff is not easily to get ahold of but the pre/peri/post operative staff & surgeon herself is amazing! I’d trust her with anyone I know & love to operate.
She was super rude, my bf came in for emergency surgery to get his gallbladder removed today (1/22/25) and the nurses told us that she was gonna come and talk to us before the surgery, but she was on lunch. So we waited and she comes in with a rude attitude saying, “I spoke with u twice the last two hours what did u need? Did u assume I wasn’t the doctor?
