I was 28 weeks pregnant when Dr. Chambliss discovered that I had an accreta in my placenta. It was very dangerous for me, and I was extremely traumatized. Dr. Chambliss advocated for me in every way she knew how. She even kicked my mother out of the room when she saw how stressed she was making me, and I had no voice. Even after my surgery, Dr. Chambliss made me feel more like a friend rather than a patient, and I will never forget her.
I had this doctor while on hospital bedrest. SHe was the worst. She would lie to try to make me leave. She would lie on my chart saying she did rounds but didn't. SHe would question my doctors plan of care. SHe pretty much terrorized me. Told me there was nothing wrong with me and that I just needed behavioral medication. SHe brought me to tears many times.
