The UC Health TRD psychiatry department (Treatment Resistant Depression/Spravato/Ketamine) just informed me they have a "5-7 month" waiting period with "70 patients" ahead of me. I wanted to voice my opinion that this definitely does not meet the critical needs of TRD patients w suicidal ideations needing immediate intervention. Received a bill for over $1000 for a simple 10 minute consultation visit with ENT Dr. Sedaghat at 7690 Discovery Dr., West Chester, OH. Disputed bill with UC Health to no avail. Apparently the bill was simply for the privilege of walking through the door of a building owned by UC Health. Received no advanced notice of the cost for a simple evaluation. Liked the doctor but avoid UC Health if at all possible!
This place is the worst. I pray other emergency rooms in the city are not like this. Very poor service when you try to get patient update. They also transfer you via phone anywhere to get rid of you.
The medical team was awesome but it’s the nastiest ER we have ever been in!! They should have a staff member constantly keeping it clean since there is so many people coming and going!! What is going on!!
This place is terrible! Always short staffed. Call lights go off forever!lThey tend to talk to you like only their opinion matters. I wouldn’t send my dead dog here! And if you have family member that’s there you can forget about them being on a 2 hour turn schedule. Hello stage 4 pressure ulcers!! Also to be sent out for a doctors appointment paper work is never ready and they don’t even have on proper winter attire when it’s right in their closet! The carelessness at this place is unreal!
The worst mistake I ever made trusting these people with my family. They did absolutely nothing and my brother repeatedly asked to come home. My brother was in Ridgeway psychiatric hospital from August 22, 2021 to May 9, 2021. He was not given any new medications, therapies, or treatments, family counseling. He was labeled a model citizen. My husband was sent to this Emergency room by his primary care doctor. He has some serious medical issue going on. He is currently still there. I am writing this review because I am honestly saddened by the two ladies who were checking people in at the Emergency room front dest this evening. On Saturday, September 18, I came to visit my brother at the Mountain Crest Nursing home, with OUR MoTHER. I drove from Columbus, Ohio With my brother clothes. I was told from receptionist, there are no visiting hours on Saturday's. Or weekends Eventhough, another sister came to visit him last Sunday. They are amazing! I have always liked them but after using a different clinic to work on baby number 2, I realize now how much more I even love UC. I will be switching back. I used UC with my ex-husband so I thought it might be good to have a fresh start with baby #2, and because IRH was so close to my work.
