I was gaslit by the medical community for TEN YEARS before finding Dr. Yu! It feels really good to finally have a Dr. who is able to see me as an individual patient instead of assuming ALL presentations of diseases always appear the same. He listened to me (rare), took what I said as valid instead of debating my experience (even more rare), and I am really grateful to finally feel like I’m an active and valued participant in my medical care!
