Dr. Copeland-Halperin and her entire office team is the best. They were able to see me on short notice for an urgent medical procedure. Dr. Copeland-Halperin was super patient and thorough in explaining what to expect, communicating during the procedure itself, and in follow up check-ins. The incision is barely noticeable and healing well several weeks post procedure.
Update: I’m 6 months post-op now and the incision healed beautifully. You can’t really see it. I had some firmness where the lipoma used to be after the surgery, and it completely went away recently. ———- If you have been thinking about getting your lipoma removed, just do it! I bumped my right shin in 2018 and wasted so many years researching non-invasive treatments because I was worried about having a large visible scar. Multiple Angiolipoma Removal My experience with Dr. Libby Copeland-Halperin was fantastic. I have an extremely large amount of angiolipomas on my body (100 – 200) in clusters on my arms, torso and legs due to some genetic issue. Ultimately, at some point I had enough angiolipomas that they were causing constant pain/pressure and needed to be removed. Would definitely recommend Dr. Copeland-Halperin. She instantly put me at ease, was super knowledgeable and very thorough in her care. She always takes the time to answer all of my questions and I always knew what to expect each visit. The office environment and staff are very friendly and welcoming.
I can't thank Dr Libby enough. She has walked with me hand in hand from the day I walked into my 1st appointment to this very day. She has been very kind to share all the options, side effects and post op complications I might have if I chose to get surgery done.
