Dr. Gottesman is one of the most caring and professional physicians you will ever have the good fortune to see. The issues that bring you to a colo-rectal surgeon are always difficult and it is so important to have someone who really knows what they are doing and who cares about the patient's comfort and well-being. Dr. Gottesman took expert and efficient care of my mother who presented for an emergent appointment that might have been quite serious. He evaluated her thoroughly, called the Emergency Department of the hospital he referred her to before she arrived, and called me late in the evening to update me on her findings. He saw her promptly after admission and followed up with me quickly. He was kind as well as organized and straightforward. I couldn't have asked for a better experience.
