Dr. Papel fitted my first set of hearing aids a couple years back. I have a seemingly unique and very annoying hearing challenge that we were not able to resolve, but I came to accept the issue. Recently, I decided to try and work with another audiologist. With different devices and some careful tuning, my issue has been mitigated. Very frustrating that I tolerated this issue unnecessarily for the past couple years. Lesson: Not all audiologists bring the same skills and diligence to their work. Choose carefully.
