I now see what you have a 3.3 rating! I have been a patient of this cardiology practice for several years and was referred to the primary care physician in the same office by Dr Bender (which is beyond amazing)Unfortunately, my recent experience with the primary care side of the practice which is Dr Hurwitz has been extremely disappointing and, in my opinion, very unprofessional. Its a shame that I have to write this, but making a "mistake" twice is unacceptable and then to send their "mistake" to a collection agency is even worse. This was my primary care doctor and they accepted my insurance. After a visit about a year ago they sent a bill after my visit for $15, I thought nothing of it and paid it. I asked on my next visit what it was about and nobody had an answer. I asked if there was ever an issue again to just contact me. We'll, there was an issue again and its been sent to collections over...... read more

Dr. Hurwitz has been my primary care physician for several years, and I genuinely like her. Unfortunately, the inability to get a callback or timely appointment for an urgent issue is unacceptable. I was seen at urgent care and referred to my primary for follow-up and additional diagnostic testing. I called on July 1 and left a detailed message but never received a callback. I called again on July 13 to express my frustration. On July 14, I finally received a call—not to schedule an appointment, but to be told they would sen... read more
