Its a shame that I have to write this, but making a "mistake" twice is unacceptable and then to send their "mistake" to a collection agency is even worse. This was my primary care doctor and they accepted my insurance. After a visit about a year ago they sent a bill after my visit for $15, I thought nothing of it and paid it. I asked on my next visit what it was about and nobody had an answer. I asked if there was ever an issue again to just contact me. Dr. Hurwitz has been my primary care physician for several years, and I genuinely like her. Unfortunately, the inability to get a callback or timely appointment for an urgent issue is unacceptable. I was seen at urgent care and referred to my primary for follow-up and additional diagnostic testing. I called on July 1 and left a detailed message but never received a callback. Dr Hurwitz is one of a kind. She has been my doc for about 20 years now. She will spend time with you and listen. She is warm and fuzzy and makes the chore of going to the doctor a pleasure.
