Dr. Powell has been a lifesaver for me. Ag a young age I have dealt with many complex health problems. She took lots of time to help me find the right specialists, and treated me like I mattered. You hardly ever wait at her office. Her staff is very helpful.
My husband and I both use Dr. Powell and like her a lot. She is very thorough and knowledgeable and treats us with care and respect.
My family has had Dr. Powell as our family Doctor for many years. We find her to be a knowledgeable, compassionate Doctor. She has always explained in details what our issues were. We trust her and highly recommend Dr. Powell.
I was quite shocked, to be completely honest, at how rude and unprofessional Dr. Leslie Powell is. She lacks empathy and compassion and treated my elderly parents and I as if we were a mere waste of her time from the very beginning. I would absolutely not recommend her to ANYONE.
In office visits positive and tight shop but negatives now outweigh cons: doctor is has no vm all communication through nurse Erin who could use some sensitivity training, more active listening and only interested in keeping doctor's schedule organized when patient is having a real emergency which can be frightening. Dr does zero hospital visits nor calls with existing admitted patients (at hospital that refers her!) and expects follow up visits before any help offered. Left out in cold!
