I'm not going to comment on Dr. Karkanitsa, if you visit him you can make your own conclusion and you may have different experiences than others. However, his receptionist (Rachel) is absolutely unbearable to work with or speak with, and is enough of a reason to never go to his office. She should not work in any customer facing role, and certainly not for a doctor where it's even more important to know how to communicate properly.
I have been going here for idk maybe over 7 or 8 yrs. My husband and I referred my mother here because the knowledge and quality of care was amazing. Once his first office lady left it went down hill . I would speak concerns and be brushed off..my husband during and after covid started getting monthly shots from him and we would get a bill ( he is disabled and on ssi) b12 shots but never seen any need or concerns for this so I told him to refuse the shot per our gastric Dr. Next we get bills for special class visits for my h... read more

Dr. Karkanitsa is a Respectful and very Professional person. My husband and I have been under his care since 2004 and I couldn't say nothing but good things about him. He is very Caring and always has a nice attitude all the time. He is a gentleman and is not fear to read some of this very hatefully reviews about him. I do not recommend contacting this doctor!!! Terrible reception of patients!!! The reception is just awful!!! It's just a nightmare!!!!
