My hand was completly ripped of and torn to shreds but he put it back together like legos.
He saved my hand from being amputated. I will be forever grateful for his expertise in his field. I was injured in a job site explosion in May 2004. It was hell coming back to where I am now, over a dozen surgeries, by Dr. Bodell and Dr. Champagne.
After a 3 story fall in 1985, a compound fracture in my wrist was of no use following surgery to repair the break & clean the wound. Referred to Dr. Bodell I wanted the hand & fingers replaced with a useful hook. Dr. Bodell cared instead to reopen the wound, clear out obstacle impairing movement. With rehab, the result is a hand and wrist with 60% mobility for 33+ yrs. Dr. Bodell was a surgical marvel. I recommend his skills to any and all! Thanks Dr. Bodell!
