I've had Dr. McGowen for over 10 years and he's been the best primary care ever! Even when I use the My vet message, he or his nurse always responds. He knows my medical history and I appreciate that. When I have to go to a specialist, the arrangements are always made and whatever prescriptions are always taken care of. Thank you.
Dr McGowen refuses to sign my father's death certificate. My father was under Dr McGowens care and sadly passed on 11/30/22. My family and funeral director have all tried to get this man to budge and he will not. No one in his office bothered to call us or communicate after several phone calls and messages to his office. Unprofessional, his nurse is rude, and none of them cared to be sensitive during this difficult time. No reason why he refuses to sign. If you are a veteran reading this, please avoid this office.
