I highly recommend Dr Rappaport for his signature treatment that is very outstanding n unique, it's called Rosebud care.
I’ve been at Tidewater Eye Care with Dr. Rappaport for 4-5 years now. Dr. Rappaport’s bedside manner is wonderful. He listens to your needs and concerns and delivers the best possible medical treatment. I can tell that he is committed to proficiency and excellency on everything eye related. It is obvious that he is very sharp on any new treatments and relentlessly looks at the positives and negatives. He is very trustworthy and his staff is very professional. I would recommend him to anyone in or out of the area.
It was very disappointing. Tons of tests nobody explained to me what they for. The doctor did not even look at the results, did not want to talk or explain anything he seemed nervous and in a real hurry, but sent me to do other tests (again without any explanation, when I asked what for he said “you are going blind” which did not have any sense as I came to Dr. Rappoport only for a second opinion, and my condition is not bad at all). . It was really unprofessional.
I have been a patient Tidewater Eye Center, located at the Academy Ave office in Portsmouth for the last 15 years. The office staff are always smiling, friendly, and professional. In addition, I am extremely impressed with Dr Len Rappaport’s knowledge, friendly caring professional demeanor, and outstanding surgical skills. I am a patient of Dr. Rappaport's and have been receiving treatment by Tidewater Eye Centers for approximately 1 year (thus far). Over this period I have visited numerous TEC locations. All the facilities are clean, and given the current health pandemic, all appropriate precautions are being implemented that make me feel very confident of my safety. Summary of my visit: The doctor came in, greeted me briefly, gave technical information about my test result to the assistant for computer input. Did not explain the results of the visual field test to me nor answer my question about them. He first decided I did not have glaucoma and did not require treatment, then changed his mind in mid-sentence given my family history. He directed his assistant to call in medication and left. I felt like I was on an assembly line...
