Dr Dorton is a Great ENT, my PC Dr sent me to her after a nodule was found on my Thyroid from an MRI. I was able to get an appointment within a few days. She sent my for a biopsy of the nodule. The results came back abnormal. She recommended that I have surgery and remove 1/2 of my Thyroid. She called me personally (something Dr's don't do anymore) when she wasn't able to get the surgery scheduled soon enough. We had a wonderful experience with Dr. Dorton. My son had his tonsils removed, and from start to finish, Dr. Dorton made the entire process so smooth and reassuring. She took the time to explain everything thoroughly, answered all of our questions with patience, and made sure my son felt comfortable and cared for. She listened really well, didn’t discount what I was seeing as an issue. She also didn’t speak over her level of expertise but really gave us some insight and options to pursue. Overall impressed with her and respected her approach.
For years doctors dismissed my daughter’s stuffy nose as allergies. Wouldn’t do tests, and would just prescribe meds that didn’t work. Finally I took it upon myself to go to an ENT. Dr. Leighanne Dorton at Greenville ENT was amazing. She took one look in my daughter’s nose and saw the problem.
