Does half of a surgery - said she left the neck of the gall bladder and a gall stone still inside. Said they would be fine like this. They were NOT fine. Finds out she only took a piece of the gall bladder and left most of it -stones and all! Had to suffer unnecessarily for over a year! No other doctor on the Island would fix it. Had to go to Vancouver to a specialist for another surgery to have the rest removed. If I could give negative stars I would. Dr Wood has been wonderful. I feel grateful to have her in my corner. Great bedside manner and a knack for talking to her patients like humans. She also seems to have a great reputation among other health care professionals. Very happy to have had her advice prior to my surgery and her expertise during the procedure.
