I don’t normally write reviews but I can’t get my encounter with this doctor out of my head and I hope this might help women in the future. I felt enormously unseen by this doctor. My symptoms as well as my desire to come off of the birth control were ignored and dismissed. No women should be made to feel “crazy” for wanting to have a period. I was made to feel as if my body is broken. I hope women have a different experience here or look elsewhere for a practitioner.
Dr. Schenk is incredible and we will forever be grateful to her. We had been trying to have a family for 4 years, had to switch to Dr. Schenk due to insurance reasons and finally felt like she truly knew our story and made appropriate changes as needed in our protocol, not just a number. We now have 4 beautiful babies (not all at once ). We would recommend her all day every day.
