We trusted Dr. Turtel with our sons strabismus surgery and amblyopia treatment and he is phenomenal. Explains everything as thoroughly as possible and has wonderful bedside manner. We are truly grateful we chose him during a very stressful decision.
Dr. Turtel was absolutely amazing! He did ‘magic tricks’ with my daughter in order to assess her eyes and she enjoyed it so much, she still talks about it! Very knowledgable and offers lots of none invasive interventions to keep my daughter’s stye at bay. Thank you for all the advice to help treat the stye and thank you for making it one of the best pediatric doctor experiences!
My daughter sees Dr. Turtel she’s 5. He is so patient and so nice to her! She now loves going to the eye doctor thanks to him! I highly recommend him!!!
My daughter needed to have a tear duct probing surgery, where they insert a tube into the tear duct to widen it. After close monitoring, Dr. Turtel explained that it was time for the surgery. The surgery went well, and Dr. Turtel said he would check in later in the day to see how my daughter was doing post surgery. He called that night on his personal cell phone. I had a great experience with Dr Turtel. My 2.5-year-old told me he wants to go back and he is usually terrified of Dr's. He had him completely at ease. He is great with kids. I am very happy with the care. He also explained everything so well. I'm not sure why others complain about his bedside manner as I had a great experience with him and with all of his staff as well.
