I have to say that Working with Dr Maciolek was an amazing experience. When I first met him, it was a good 6 years before he said I needed the surgery. He also admitted that a surgeon my age, then in my midd-60’s, would have had me on the table the next day. When he did perform surgery to relieve the excruciating sciatic pain. In my right leg, the pqin completely disappeared the following day and that pain hasn’t returned. In fact, i am seeking his help again.
I had 5 fractures in my back & he didn't believe in vertobroplasty or khyoplasty.. I believe he should have advised me to go to a larger hospital near us for an evaluation for those procedures.. I still have chronic back issues that might have been relieved by the procedures.
ZERO STARS?!?! It's been many years since I've seen Dr. Maciolek, but I'll never forget the last appointment I ever had with him because it left a scar that will never heal. I won't go into too many details, just what I think others like me who are thinking about going to see him, hoping for answers, would probably like to know. I am still in a lot of back pain. I am unable to do much because of the pain. I couldn't ask questions, He didn't explain anything, he didn't give me option, he didn't ask me question because he wouldn't even see me. He had some funky nurse that saw me. WHAT THE AM I PAYING FOR????? This should be illegal!
