Dr. Maciolek did my surgery in 2009. I experienced horrific pain for years with sciatica. He did a Laminectomy and a fusion. The surgery was a success, the recovery time was amazing, I would say 17 years sciatic pain free is a pretty good record. I have had no discomfort since the surgery. Thank you for giving me a happy back!

It's been many years since I've seen Dr. Maciolek, but I'll never forget the last appointment I ever had with him because it left a scar that will never heal. I have to say that Working with Dr Maciolek was an amazing experience. When I first met him, it was a good 6 years before he said I needed the surgery. He also admitted that a surgeon my age, then in my midd-60’s, would have had me on the table the next day. When he did perform surgery to relieve the excruciating sciatic pain. In my right leg, the pqin completely disappeared the following day and that pain hasn’t returned. In fact, i am seeking his help again.
I had 5 fractures in my back & he didn't believe in vertobroplasty or khyoplasty.. I believe he should have advised me to go to a larger hospital near us for an evaluation for those procedures.. I still have chronic back issues that might have been relieved by the procedures.
