Dr. Richter was the first neurologist I ever saw. He listened. He was patient. He found out that I did have a small stroke which was the problem with my speech. He found out and helped me deal with my vertigo issues all without surgery. I would recommend Dr. Richter absolutely

Kept giving me a medicine for migraines I told him was not working. Refused to try new medication. Had to find a new doctor to get positive results.

Less than impressed with my experience. Receptionist was far from friendly. Dr Richter, in my case, explained nothing of my condition and seemed to not be open to questions. Over all, felt they were just going through the motions. This was just my experience and, hopefully, not that of others.

The receptionist was very curt and seemed annoyed that I arrived late because my primary doctor's office made the appointment. The tech was friendly and professional. Dr. Richter listened to my complaints/concerns. He performed a focused assessment. He's very professional, but he is not very personable. The staff member who checked me out was friendly and positive. The office and examination rooms are very clean. Overall, my experience was typically average for a doctor's appointment.

I was floored when he walked in reading my chart, glances up and says "Who diagnosed you with MS? You don't look like you have MS" OMG What does someone who has MS look like?! And he has a medical degree in Neurology.
