Unfortunately, Dr. Michaud has the absolute WORST bedside manner I have ever experienced in a doctor. When you walk in for an appointment she will simply call your name, she will not smile or ask how you are. You sit in her office and with nearly no eye contact or expression she simply asks questions like a robot. I called with a serious medication issue and she didn't bother calling me back with any urgency. She is an absolutely awful Doctor to work with. 6 months was 6 months too many.
Lavonne Michaud should not be a psychiatrist, she obviously hates her job. She rolled her eyes during my whole appointment, seemed very annoyed and came off so rude. I left the appointment disappointed and more anxious and depressed. She seems like an unhappy person, perhaps she should talk to a real psychiatrist.
I would recommend her based on her efficiency and no nonsense approach. She has always asked all the the information that pertains to my disorder. She always asks questions and listens.
