I consulted Dr. Laurie Brodsky for some lingering health concerns that other practitioners hadn't fully addressed. Dr. Brodsky is an extremely knowledgeable and encouraging practitioner - both vital when trying to make any big changes to your lifestyle and overall health. I heard Dr Laurie Brodsky speak about diabetes on the radio a while back. She spoke about how diabetics should be eating a very low carbohydrate diet. This way of eating goes against all mainstream nutritional counseling we Type 2 diabetics receive. Dr Laurie inspired me to make changes to my diet, changes that actually made sense to me.
