Dr Bailen is a fine doctor, but he is overbooked and it is incredibly frustrating trying to deal with his office staff. Very frequently they don't pick up the phone, they are only available 9 am - 4 pm and are out from noon - 1. It doesn't matter how good the doctor is if you can't get get in touch with him or get in to see him.
Always available, compassionate and honest and straight forward communication. Even takes the time to follow up in the evenings. Exceptional!
Dr Bailen is the kindest Doctor There is a history of colon cancer In my family and he performs my Colonoscopies I highly recommend him
I have had mysterious, chronic GI issues since I was 12 years old. Most GI specialists would give up on my case or refuse to take it to begin with, but not Dr. Bailen. Not only is his bed side manner impeccable, but he's incredibly knowledgeable, dedicated, and never gives up on his patients. If you're looking for a good, dedicated, long term GI, Dr. Bailen is your guy.
