I was referred to Dr. Lauren Kuykendall for reconstructive surgery following my bilateral mastectomy after being diagnosed with breast cancer in late June 2025. Dr. K. is a wonderful plastic surgeon and very knowledgeable in her field. I am a very natural person, meaning that I would never elect to have breast implants for myself under "normal" conditions. Dr. Lauren Kuykendall is at the top of her field in my personal experience as her patient. (I was recommended by my surgical oncologist after my double mastectomy from cancer.) It can be very scary finding and trusting someone to alter your physical appearance, to help you regain a sense of self after cancer or an accident, or if you want to change up your look.
