I was Dr Okin's client for nearly a decade, and she transformed my life. She taught me how to feel my feelings, uncover difficult patterns in my relationships, and make major changes to improve my life and my mental health. She has an encyclopedic understanding of mental health, including both traditional and novel modalities. I enthusiastically recommend her to anyone who is working through challenging relationship issues or other mental health issues.
Dr okin is a liability as a GAL. She was hired by me to investigate a custody case and didn't even so much as bother to review my son's medical records. When deposed: she refused to answer any questions about her personal life or views and began crying when my lawyers presented her with numerous instances of her failure to adhere to (or even be aware of) the GAL standards.
