I’ve been seeing Dr. Mintz for almost 15 years and she is one of the most amazing doctors I’ve ever had. I truly look forward to my appointments with her. If you ever get the pleasure of having her as a doctor, it’s a blessing. She’s very dependable, caring, kind and just an overall amazing human being. The world will be a very very sad place when she retires.
She is an incredibly kind and thoughtful doctor, in my experience. She is very respectful about weight and size inclusivity. She is incredibly LGBTQIA+ friendly, and she cares deeply about equity for her patients and within her profession. She masks during appointments and promotes COVID cautiousness in a world that acts like COVID is gone. I really love her as a doctor and can't speak her praises enough.
I observed a concerning tendency where the doctor made assumptions about patients based on their religious background, particularly towards those who appear Muslim. While the commitment to LGBTQ+ friendliness is commendable, it unfortunately seems to come with prejudgments that all Muslim or Muslim-presenting individuals may hold bigoted views towards the LGBTQ+ community. This approach could potentially alienate and unfairly judge patients, impacting the inclusivity and comfort expected in a medical environment.
A competent, dedicated, and sensitive doctor. Dr. Mintz works very well with my complicated medical history, the fact that I am transgender, and the fact that I am autistic. She's one of the best doctors I've ever had. I also have some mild health anxiety, yet she still lets me have agency and play a part in my healthcare.
Dr. Mintz has been an absolute pleasure to have as my PCP she is definitely very understanding and willing to talk you through whatever questions and concerns you have. I definitely recommend her it's always great to have doctors who are very diverse and extremely LGBTQ+ friendly.
