Getting an appointment is impossible. On hold for five minutes with the message that an operator would be with me. Told to hold that due to a high volume of calls I would be transferred to voice messaging. 7 minutes in, the phone hung up.
Dr. Bookman saw me while in the hospital one time for less than five minutes, in place of my own surgeon. Truly horrible experience. He had never seen me before, and I was foggy from pain meds. He was aggressive, hostile, accused me of being responsible for my illness and my "excessive" pain med usage in hospital (meds were prescribed by attending physician and administered IV by nurse), and was otherwise offensive and frankly frightening. This dude is a complete quack. So insecure in what he does he publicly denounces marijuana as a proven cure for stomach issues This POS would rather continue his malpractice than seek a legitimate cure. Like most so-called doctors, he is all about the greed and will keep people sick to build his bank account.
Thanks to Dr. Bookman I have been in remission from Crohn's colitis since 1998.
