Dr Winters performed an IME on me for my employers workers comp co. My EXPERIENCE Winters walked in straight face, rigid w/ few words. He performed his examination on my knee and ankle as if I was a piece of plastic & had no pain. Winters never asked what difficulties I had been experiencing. He asked me to lay down on the examination table & my knee automatically jerked. Have been seeing Dr Winter for little over a year. He has gone over and beyond for me and getting injections approved for my knee OA that were turned down in the past. He takes the time to listen to your issues. I would recommend Dr Winter to anyone needing a Ortho Dr. I took 1 star away because his staff is totally inconsiderate. I am very punctual maybe its the military that is still in me or maybe I have high standards and just expect to much. When I am told I am going to get a call the next day I expect that call. Two years since Dr Winter replaced my hip, everything remains GREAT! Can't thank him and his team enough for the wondrous improvement in my quality of life. 👍👍👍

Lied about being in-network. Horrible. Asked me to book appointment for a later date so that I'm in-network, which I did, and then filed a claim with my insurance as out-of-network. Talked to my insurance, they told me to ask Winters Orthopedic to submit another and then talked back to them to file another claim with different a TaxID so that it's processed as in-network. But they're not doing it. It's been over 2 months. I call in every week and every time they keep me on hold for long time, and then say they'll do it.
