Ruined my knee! NEVER go to Dr. Winter
I had to see Dr. Winter for a IME. I just wonder if he knows that the "I" stands for "independent" not "I" get paid by the insurance? I walk everywhere with a cane after my work injury and he wrote I was fine and basically put down that I was exaggerating.(Lying) So be cautious because Arizona laws letting these companies be self-insured and pay their doctors should be illegal.
Dr Winters performed an IME on me for my employers workers comp co. My EXPERIENCE Winters walked in straight face, rigid w/ few words. He performed his examination on my knee and ankle as if I was a piece of plastic & had no pain. Winters never asked what difficulties I had been experiencing. He asked me to lay down on the examination table & my knee automatically jerked. Have been seeing Dr Winter for little over a year. He has gone over and beyond for me and getting injections approved for my knee OA that were turned down in the past. He takes the time to listen to your issues. I would recommend Dr Winter to anyone needing a Ortho Dr. I took 1 star away because his staff is totally inconsiderate.
