While in the ER, he said "there are things that can be done about that" when I told him I have chronic fatigue syndrome. And when I asked for a local recommendation for a doctor to see, he said himself; yet when I went in for an appointment, he had nothing to offer, and anything I brought up testing or trying, he just said "I don't know" and apologized for not being any help. Why lead me to believe he could help me in the first place? Unfortunately it was a waste of time and hope.
Finding a new doctor isn't easy, but, wow, was I lucky! A respectful and thoughtful doctor, I appreciated that he listened and then shared what he knew, offering contemporary procedural analysis and viable options. Very refreshing. A very positive experience. I would give him an excellent, but it was a fist visit.
