I’ve been under the care of Dr. Guthikonda for many years, and I truly couldn’t ask for a better neurologist. My aunt goes here for her Parkinson's disease and the doctor is very impatient and doesn't really pay much attention to my aunts symptoms. She gave her one medication and sent her on her way, after that we go in and its a quick assessment as far as making my aunt lift her arms and legs and then she just reschedules her. My aunt has declined so much and this doctor doesn't really care to do anything else for her besides represcribing her the one parkinsons medication. Great doctor and her excellent staff.
My husband and I are both patients of Dr Gouthikonda. He has dementia which is progressing. The Dr gave him a new medicine that may be causing him to sleep 24/7 and he doesn't eat anything due to a lack of appetite. I have tried reaching out to the doctor for the past 3 days and she hasn't responded to me. I am going to have to take him to the urgent care which is what I am doing now, we can't even get an appointment with his PCP for another two weeks.
