This doctor was so rude and unprofessional. His bedside manners are non-existent.
This was our 3rd experience with Dr. Burke at Liberty Regional. My son is non-verbal and has autism. We’ve come to the ER due to injuries or illnesses my son got while in the care of a facility. Dr. Burke seemed to think I had done something to my son before hearing about his injuries. Learning that the injuries occurred while my son was not with me didn’t change his attitude towards me. Mr. Burk was very kind. Kept conversations with my mom, my sister, and I to distract us from him giving her stitches. Very good doc
Dr. Burks has a very unprofessional bedside manner and show not be practicing if he has to tell patients to go to their primary care provider to confirm his diagnosis. Dr. Burks completely disregard patient symptoms and told the patient "Maybe you should stop working". He hung up on family and slammed to door at the patient expressed dissatisfaction with professionalism as well as complaint regarding treatment.
Shows true concern. Willing to go the extra mile to help, Compassionate too. Can’t leave out the Staff in the ER was excellent!!!
Horrible experience with him. It was like he didn't even want to be there. He didn't wanna take the time to talk to me. He cut me off when I spoke. He mocked me. He laughed at me behind the door. He just wasn't professional and rude. Do not want him as a doctor ever again.
