20 Years ago today, June 18th, 1997, my father died as a result of gross malpractice by the team led by Dr. Graver. In short, he had a patient with a bleeding disorder called ITP. During a bypass procedure, he administered heparin and then they "forgot" to reverse it with protamine. My father coded and bled out in front of me.
