I was diagnosed with MS 33 years ago, but I learned more about my form of MS during my Telemed appointment with Dr. Lilyana Amezcua than I had learned from any of my previous doctors since my diagnosis.
I wish I could speak to what happened during my appointment - but I haven't had one. Dr Wrobel has very limited availability in increasingly limited areas of Los Angeles. Her office routinely cancels and reschedules appointments (sometimes within 12 hours of one cancellation, there is another). As a patient, I would prefer to be told there is no availability rather than schedule an appointment that is only going to be rescheduled right before it happens. That way more urgent matters can be directed to a doctor that can actua... read more
Allison Ramirez!
She is very opinionated and can be insensitive to her patients. She only considered MRI results and not the emotional trauma afflicting her patients. She acts like a robot and lacks compassion.
I was going to write an honest review of our unfortunate experience after surgery with this doctor, but the website is not allowing me to post it. Let that tell you something.
I am in awe of the improvement in my quality of life a result of the mad skills of Dr. Wrobel! Amazing in all regards! Words cannot begin to express the depth of my gratitude, and the place that Keck Hospital, Dr. Wrobel, and all staff will hold in my heart for the rest of my days.
The man tells you very little about the long term side effects of surgery and then is so arrogant to admit when he’s wrong. I thought I was only having a small portion of my jaw removed due to osteoradionecrosis. When I woke up, half my jaw was gone along with three teeth and a big chunk of my left arm removed. Now I can never have teeth implants or talk normally and I’ve never regained the strength in my arm to use it like I should. All this was not conveyed as options before the procedure.
Dr. Wrobel is a world class surgeon! I recently had a septoplasty and Eustachian tube balloon dilation procedure performed by Dr. Wrobel and had the best experience!! Hopefully I never need an ENT surgery again, but if I did I would definitely choose her and her team in a heartbeat. Before meeting Dr. Wrobel I had met other providers and their recommendations were not as thorough as Dr. Wrobel's. She ordered additional imaging to ensure the surgery would be a success and that there wouldn't be complications. I felt so cared ... read more
Dr. Wrobel saved my life. I had esthesioneuroblastoma, an extremely rare cancerous tumor in my nasal cavity that had already invaded my skull base. Dr. Wrobel and Dr. Zada, my neurosurgeon, meticulously operated on me for 7.5 hours, removing the cancerous tissues, achieving "negative margins," and patching the area of removed skull bone using part of my septum (a fairly new technique known as "nasoseptal flap"). Dr. Wrobel is not only a superb surgeon but also a compassionate physician and is happy to explain everything to a... read more
