Very bad experience
Dr. Abeln is a miracle worker! After years of pain he replaced my shoulder and within days I was back at work. I expected to have continued pain and it was totally gone within 2 days following surgery. I went to sleep with one good arm and woke up with two. I have recommended him to some of my friends with the same problem. Totally Satisfied.

I would highly recommend Dr. Abeln for shoulder replacement surgery. My surgery was completed on August 4 and I’m already able to lift my arm above my head and in all directions without pain. It is such a relief to be able to move or sit without pain. Dr. Abeln is a highly competent physician and his staff is very friendly and supportive. So much so, that I am already making plans to have surgery on my other shoulder. I feel blessed in finding this doctor and his staff.
Dr. Abeln repaired my broken Tib & Fib in April 2019. In July 2020 he removed my plate and ten screws. Thanks to Dr. Abeln I am now able to resume my 3.5 mile walks to keep my by pass arteries open. He is an excellent doctor who cares about his patients. He is a very skillful surgeon. I highly recommend him.

Dr. Abeln did my shoulder replacement surgery about a month ago. I have been very pleased with his care and knowledge. When I was worried about having hurt myself after the surgery he showed me that everything was in place and I would be fine. That left me feeling so much better and positive for my recuperation period.
Dr. Abeln performed Labrum repair surgery on my right shoulder in March 2015. It has since healed well, and I am able to play sports again (baseball, softball, basketball, etc.) He is very knowledgable in the Orthopedic field and will explain exactly what he will do during the procedure.
