Unfortunately, Dr. Aversa was not transparent with me. I woke up from anesthesia during a minor surgery. I was awake. The anesthesiologist talked me down. Dr. Aversa said nothing during or afterwards at any point. That was a couple years ago and, obviously, they are recorded during such minor surgery...I have been looking for another ob-gyn. I don't have high hopes. If she didn't check in...what else will she have to cover? Not a good look.
Dr. Aversa was so wonderful and knowledgeable when she took care of me during my pregnancy of advanced age. I researched credentials and chose the best.
My wife saw this physician and it was a huge regret on our behalf. How she passed Medical School is quite a mystery....Do yourself a favor and do not make an appointment with her.
