I waited over four weeks for my first appointment, only to spend about seven minutes with Dr. Taylor. Most of that time, I was cut off and my concerns were dismissed. When I requested a hormone panel, she told me it wasn’t necessary, saying it would “just tell her I’m in perimenopause.” (I’ve had a hysterectomy and partial oophorectomy, so the only way to determine where I am hormonally is a hormone panel.)
