I first met with a nurse who took info and got me scheduled for an in lab sleep study. I arrived for the sleep study and the room was cool and comfortable, but very dated. The sheets definately needed to be replaced. Luckily, the tech knew what he was doing and got me wired up. I was able to sleep only because I take a sleeping pill. I worked with Dr. Krakow on my sleep issues over the course of a year and a half. On the whole, it was a very unsatisfying and frustrating experience. After an in-lab sleep study, Krakow diagnosed me with obstructive sleep apnea. I then subsequently attempted (unsuccessfully) to adapt to CPAP treatment, which was very demoralizing. When that failed, I arranged -- at great expense -- for an oral device customized by my dentist for the treatment of sleep apnea. This also offered no benefit. Dr. Krakow is an amazing doctor! His office was able to schedule me quick and has worked with me diligently in regards to my sleep issues. I highly recommend Dr. Krakow!! His staff is amazjng as well!
