Through seeing Dr. Shams for 4 yrs, he still couldn't get my name correct so I just accepted my new name after correcting him every visit to no avail. When I left the state and needed a copy of my medical records to take to a new Dr, I found all kinds of errors. Important errors! While seeing him, I thought he understood me but after reading my records, he either never truly understood my issues or he is a poor record keeper. I'm really not sure which it is. I visited Dr. Shams for a simple review of my condition required by the State of Ohio. Dr Shams seemed confused. He seemed to have a preconceived idea of my condition before my visit. Questions he claimed to have asked were different on his report. My answers were left out pertinent to my condition. This Dr. Truly appeared to be incompetent. The State of Ohio dismissed Dr. Shams report. Very poorly written with inaccurate information. Very disappointed with this doctor. Complete fail !
He is very patient, thoughtful and takes as much time as needed to allow you to understand his goals and to ask questions. I feel like he really cares for my well being and goes into detail so that I understand what he is saying. I am very happy with this doctor and I feel positive with the results I'm experiencing so far.
